I offer my services at an affordable price that avoids all the hassle and expense of studio hire. I record real drum sample sounds using state of the art electronic drum kit ATV Drums which play incredibly similar to real acoustic drums and sound amazing. The benefits of this are that you can get complete control over the sound and have both midi and audio versions of the drum tracks to play with. No upfront payment is required.

How Much Does It Cost?

Just AU$120.00 per track.

For this you get individual audio tracks and midi file as well as 4 revisions to the initial track. If a track is particularly long with a complex arrangement there may be a surcharge but I will let you know after the initial listen.

I can keep the price down as I can do this in my own time without traveling and setting up all my gear in a studio.
Discounts will be given for multiple tracks

Why choose online drum tracks for your recording?

It really comes down to convenience and cost.

Real acoustic drums are great but they are expensive to record and need great quality mics and recording equipment to sound great as well as a good engineer with consulate technical skill and a drummer who knows how to tune drums for the track. My drums sound great all the time because they have been recorded in that environment already!

You will get completely dry, natural drum and cymbal sounds on individual tracks to do with you as you please as well as the versatility of having the midi file for complete control. Furthermore, you won’t have to worry about problems like “bleed” into the overhead mics (normally unavoidable when recording drums) or “phase cancellation”; this means you can mix each track as you desire.

How Does It Work?

Fill out the online form below or give me a call to discuss your vision for the track.

If you have a demo already recorded I can copy that or read a drum part you have already written, of course if you want me to give you ideas I can do that too. If you can send me some other tracks that you like the drum sounds on that’s helpful too.

I’ll send you back a dropbox link to a shared folder where you can upload the track. I’ll record a stereo track to your demo and add it as an mp3 to the shared folder, if you’re happy I’ll go ahead and record the track proper, if not we can do up to 4 revisions to get it how you want it.

Once I’ve received payment for the track I’ll send you a stereo drum track, individual audio tracks of each drum part and a midi file which will give you complete control over the drum sound. If you don’t like the drum sounds simply swap the drum sounds using your favourite VST software.

What If I Don't Like What You've Done?

I really hope this won’t happen as I take pride in being good at what I do, but if you don’t like the drum parts after the initial mp3 track has been sent and you feel this is the wrong direction for your song then walk away, there will be no charge.

You only pay when you’re happy with the track!

Why Should I Choose You?

I’ve been a pro drummer for over 20 years, played countless gigs with many different artists and played on many sessions.

This experience has given me a real knowledge of what works in a song and what doesn’t.

One of the compliments I often get is what great feel I have and that is a major part of what makes a great drum track.

What Styles Do You Play?

I can play all styles but I’m most comfortable in the pop, soul, funk and rock styles. If you’re looking for metal, prog rock or fusion styles then this wouldn’t be suited to this way of recording and I would advise looking elsewhere.

Once I listen to your track I’ll be honest and let you know if I can do it justice.

Do you expect royalties?

No, the drum tracks are owned wholly by you once you have paid the fee.

How Long Does It Take?

As little as 48 hrs and no longer than 5 days depending on my workload at the time,I’ll always endeavour to get the tracks back to you asap

Here are a few examples of the drums sounds you can choose from. Remember these drums are completely pure and unmixed with no reverb, compression or effects added. These are also just mp3’s to demo so your wav files will sparkle even more!
This is a sound demo, there are plenty of playing examples over here

If you have any other questions please let me know or fill out the online form below to begin the process. I’m looking forward to working with you!
